Cheering with the crowd here!
I think I was more upset at Hedwig's death than Dumbledor! LOL I too am behind a week but hope to get my "big white machine" (as my grandson calls it) back from the repair shop today.
Oh Now to find that perfect fabric for her.

I think Hedwig's death stunned me more, because it was so unexpected. I cried lots for both!

Love Hedwig & the Draco alternative. :D Thanks for that one. I've been holding off on making the last couple of weeks blocks so I can do them this weekend at quilt retreat. I'll get all the fabric ready & crank them out. :D

Ooooh, thank you, Jennifer! Like everyone else, I'm so happy to see this block. (My 5-year-old has just finished PS and is starting CoS...Hedwig is already one her favorite things about the Harry Universe!)

I'm still waiting on a machine, too. I'm 3 weeks behind and starting to have withdrawal symptoms!
