Yay for being first!

I really enjoyed this one. The diamond book was inspired by the fabulous green stone fabric that hardhatcat gave me. :)

You should! I would love it if we both had the same book!

So nice to have a super simple one thrown in while I'm still playing major catch-up!

I thought a nice simple one would be good this week. I have tried really hard to spread out the difficulty levels. :)

Same here. I'm working on the Diary one - and have had to completely redo - bleh! My fault for realizing I had to mentally 'flip' the pattern image to figure out what goes where - hee hee. Paper piecing is a challenge for dyslexia?

I have serious spatial-relation issues and paper piecing can be very challenging. I have had trouble with the flipping, though I love paper piecing. I'm really glad I picked out a batik for my background so I don't have to think so hard about right side-wrong side of fabric. I've only screwed up a few times on this project *lol*. Would have been a lot more if my background mattered!

Oh, hooray, endless possibilities! And, yes, that diamond block looks a bit menacing for some reason...fun!

It'll be easy, peasy, promise!

I went straight to looking in my fabric bins after I saw this...hmmmm...decisions, decisions. What a fun block to play with. Yippee.
