I want to cry. Narcissa should burn in fucking hell.
Uh, sorry. I don't know why, but I had trouble even finishing this fic, it upset me so bad. It just hurts. I'm all right with fics where Harry is in a triangle or whatever, but whoever Harry wants to be with should be with Harry alone, damn it.
He wanted to break things.
So do I, man. Like that whore's neck.
Uh, again, sorry with the profanity and anger...
I don't think I've ever been this angry and upset with a fic before. I need to, like, forget I even read it or else I'll be pissed off for days. You should take this as a compliment, if you were unsure.
The odd thing? I'm having trouble getting too mad at Narcissa. Yes, she's a right bitch...but she does it with such style!
Snape, on the other hand, he makes me want to hurl large objects at him. Like rocks. Rocks with razors poking out of him. I tried to wrap my head around why he's so insistent on keeping up the 'arrangement', but obviously my mind doesn't grasp the complexity, because I'm still on 'I want to hurt him'. I don't know which made me madder-the sex with Narcissa, or the refusal to give Harry what he needs in the relationship, or the manipulation....argh!
And Harry. Poor attention-starved Harry! *cuddles Harry*
Oh, I don't know - I've been in Severus' position before, quite a few times, so there's an interpretation from which I can sympathize. A bond like Severus has with Narcissa - it's not romantic love between them per se, but a sort of loyalty and trust and selflessness that makes it natural for him to respond to what she needs him to be. Harry, on the other hand, is his choice. Harry could say no - in fact Severus is expecting him to say no, or produce an ultimatum - but he hasn't said it yet. And really - it's not fair to push Harry into it, he still might adapt, he still might say yes, he might ask for something Severus can give, something about the situation might change and make Severus' decision easier.... Morally dubious, yes, but if Severus is totally noble and pushes away everyone who wants him but can't immediately accept The Narcissa Thing, he'll almost certainly be alone. It's very tempting to just take what he's given. Even knowing Harry probably wants something he won't give, it seems unfair to make Harry's decision
