Thanks! *nice rat icon* Yes, Peter was the sad one, as much as James. I don't know if Pettigrew really is insane, but being around Voldemort would tend to unbalance a person, I think.

Of course it would, especially since the Death Eaters seem to bandy about Crucio as much as their master does, and Peter didn't have any strong ties to keep him safe.
