Oh, thank you so much! I did have a hard time with this pairing, for some reason - I think because I never really write Neville, I've not tried to get into his head before, so I'd not really given him a "voice". Now he has one, and it's a rather pleasant one in my head. ;)
My heart leapt with joy when I saw that you were writing Woobies, my dear - I knew you'd do it right. And you did. This was gorgeous.
Great use of the ficlet, and this paragraph:
"Oh." Neville flushed, grateful that the silvery light would bleach the color from his face, if Harry turned around to look. How odd, and quite painful in a way, to be recognized not for who he was, but for who he was not. How typical, too, come to think of it. Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived. Neville Longbottom - The-Boy-Who-Was-Not.
Thank you!!! :D I'm glad I managed to pull it off. It took me a bit to find Neville, he's such a shy boy, but once he finally decided to let me write him it worked out decently well. ;) I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

"You are the only one, Neville, for whom I am Harry... nothing more, nothing less, just... Harry."
*weeps*
I am absolutely floored. This was the first drabble I ever wrote and I thought it was a ridiculous little thing, but your fic was a diamond from the coal I gave you. Oh, I want to cry with joy!! I love Neville/Harry. Oh, you got it so right!! Just the way I dreamed it would be. Amazing writing.
A million thanks!!
And the last line: "and the magic they made between them was the oldest sorcery in the world."

I thought you did great on the drabble! It gave me a great deal to work with, especially in "finding" a Neville-muse. I've never focussed on him before, so it was great to have a foundation like yours to work from! I'm very glad you enjoyed it!!! :D
