It is probably somewhere near the bottom, but I do like it a bit better than the book. I guess I'd still say least favorite, but the gap between it and the one before isn't quite as far.
"I've always held that Half Blood Prince is a bad book, largely comprised of boring or distasteful 'filler' material that Rowling inserted to bide away the time until the critical death of Dumbeldore in the final act. The canon corrections incorporated within the movie adaptation of the novel confirmed my convictions, but also resulted in a much more pleasant experience with the Half Blood Prince this time around ..."
I did appreciated them cutting out Ron comment to ginny about moving through boyfriends too fast, and her vicious comeback- outing Hermione kissing Krum leading to Lavender fiasco.
I prefer how the movie did it in terms of Ron just simply feeling not good enough and Lavender being the one that initiates it. (also the fact that Hermione's Canaries Didn't actually managed to attack Ron- that was one thing I hated from the book)
liked that they played the 'Malfoy is up to something' from Malfoy's POV instead of it being Harry wild 'I need to know what Malfoy is doing' thing

again, because much like Goblet of Fire it got a few scenes very right but a lot of the characterization (or scene addition/cut) horribly wrong.
