Where were you when you saw the last two HP movies? Do you have any special memories?

I was in SPAIN! So I didn't get to see a midnight showing because they didn't have one, but luckily I found a non-dubbed English version to see the day it came out :)

Part I: saw it in the town I was living at the time. Part II: I was in New Orleans; I was trying to move there, but it didn't work out and I ended up going back home a few weeks later.

Part I - WB screening, with my daughter, because she also did press for DH1!

Round tables - right beside Rupert when he said that when shooting wrapped, he gave Dan and Emma trumpets as gifts - with messages that he had hand engraved, himself, with his engraving kit - and Dan as he casually mentioned the epilogue being reshot.

Part II - I turned down a press screening - aren't you impressed?

Well, my daughter was actually IN this one, as a small Hufflepuff in the Great Hall scene, and I promised I wouldn't see it without her, so I did red carpet without a screening, which was fine, because Dan popped over from New York and didn't have time to answer any questions, anyway, and the lovely WB people were so touched that I sacrificed a screening that they gave us both tickets to the premiere and we sat with heidi8 and saw her great moment - blink and you'll miss it and you have to know what you're looking for, but hurrah!

The final two films. Many of these actors have been with us since the very beginning. We saw these kids grow up in the past 10 years. How do you feel about how the actors grew and developed their craft? (also, take a look at this gallery of the actors at the first and last film premieres. OMG SO WEE)

I still cannot believe how natural Rupert is, wthout seeming to try, at all, and how hard Dan worked, to become a wonderful leading man and theatre actor.

It will never not be nostalgic and weird.

but it makes it even more special because we literally grew up together.

I think they All done amazing for themselves, each in their own individual way and that they all continue to be amazing at their craft and as people.

How did you feel about how the films represented the book's iconic moments? Any disappointing omissions?

Well, no one walked forward simultaneously and hugged, but they hugged twice when they first saw each other (6/7), so it wouldn't have had the impact.

And I could have done with a bit more I love her like a sister.

I'm mostly just glad that the forest-scene was pretty close to perfect. Some little things that bothered me with the changes but they're always expected..

What do you think about how these films handled the many deaths that occurred? Which scenes made you the most sad?

Nice

And I feel like i'm in the minority, but I love that trio hug scene. The look of utter relief on ron's face, and how he melts into the hug, makes my heart flutter with trio friendship feelings.
