Love this, especially the ending! Snape really is so childish in a lot of ways, and you play that perfectly here. And OMG Hermione as an annoying parent type ("You don’t enjoy being treated like a child when you aren’t one? What a coincidence. Neither do I.") works so well!

This was great - Snape is a sulky bastard, and Hermione is an annoying, bossyboots, and yet I love them both in your story. I'm sure they're going to have a long and satisfying working relationship. Or something.
