I don't know if this was your intent, but this made me feel a bit sorry for Petunia. She's so narrow-minded and bigoted, but she's also had to deal with being constantly around someone she hates, that reminds her of horrors, just to try to protect what she loves. She's still not a good person, but there's a trace of sympathetic in there somewhere.

I also like how Luna is so quietly devoted to Harry, and how it's her unquestioning support that lets him have enough control to deal calmly with Petunia, despite her treatment of him.

Originally, I was going to paint Petunia as the villian. But, after I finished, I decided to leave her as is. Petunia's a nasty bitch in the books but I feel a bit sorry for her.
