Another one? OMG. Don't take a nap, keep an eye on the storm! Be safe.
And my opinion won't count cause here in Brazil tipping is not really a habit and they always charge for the delivery.
I'd say you did the right thing. I'd do the same.

Thank you, honey. Fortunately, this storm is just a thunderstorm - it's weakening even as I type this, so no real danger today, thankfully.

And thanks for the opinion - I feel like I did the right thing, but it's so hard to be sure sometimes.

Another storm? Man, you're lucky. As long as they're not dangerous, I love it when it storms here. Like I said in one of your other posts, it hasn't happened much this year, but when it does I am the idiot standing outside to watch.

And I definitely don't blame you on the pizza thing. I wouldn't tip after paying a delivery charge, either. Mmmm...pizza.... *stares disdainfully at the pasta in front of me*

Yeah, this wound up being just a thunderstorm, which I'm glad for. Once I was sure of that I took a Storm Nap. Felt great! Seems to have cooled off everything, which is a plus.

Okay... the MP trailer is just twisted. Some friends of mine have recently been having an ongoing lovefest with Julie and I passed it along. I may get stoned.

Here's my question to Pizza Hut. Your guys USE THEIR OWN CARS AND CARRY THEIR OWN INSURANCE!! Exactly what am I paying Pizza Hut a delivery charge for? I do think the drivers end up on the losing end of that deal but hey... choices.

I agree - I think they're making more money for the company at the expense of their drivers - who's going to tip the driver when they have to pay a delivery fee? Unless they're passing this along to their drivers - and it's their way of guaranteeing a decent tip for them - I think it's pretty shitty tactics. I may have to research this a bit more...

I'm gonna research it more, see if I can find out what's up. Do they give the money to the driver for going? I doubt it. But I'd like to know more. Still, if these kids want to work for these places, and there's a delivery charge, they have to know that they're gonna get stiffed more and more often. It's too bad.

I always pick up because Domino's has pickup specials. But if they were charging me 2.50, I would definitely not tip. I'm a poor college student, whaddya expect?

And Domino's tastes better than Pizza Hut anyway. ;)
