The Bet is there - at least, the first 15 chappies anyway. My other multi-fic is called Eve, and that's done. That was written a year ago, so my writing was not as good then. But it's not horrible, and it features a SERIOUSLY alpha Booth. Both stories earn their M rating, just want to give you fair warning!

This HAS to be the best thing EVER. I roared with laughter when I read this part! The fact that Angela and Brennan have this rule seriously cracks me up. And also makes me wonder why my own friends and I never instituted such measures....

I was going to say I can't wait for the next update, but now that you mention that it's over on FF.net, I know what I will be doing in bed tonight. Okay...that came out wrong. What I meant to say was I was going to enjoy your story in bed with a bowl of ice cream. :)

My eyes bugged out when you mentioned your bed, and I'm thinking, 'Well, it does get pretty steamy around chappie 6 or 7, maybe that's what she meant????' HAH!

I've got up to chapter 15 done and posted over there, and I'm working on chapter 16 now. Hope you enjoy the rest of it! I really just wanted to have fun with this - no earth-shattering drama, no life or death - just BB and the squints.

This is perfect. I've been meaning to get to this on FF.net, but looking at a whole whack of chapters and the time I had, I never quite got there. But now I have no excuse not to read them one at a time as you post them and get to them when I can.

So, now... on with the fic!

For starters, it's good to see Jack and Angela together. They're totally meant to be together, so quit screwing around Hart!

Perfect argument for B&B. Brennan really is clueless on this one, hands down. But her voice is perfectly in character and her argument sounds very natural. Actually both of them sound very natural as they go around this topic.

I love that Angela has 'one to cash in'. Savvy Angela knows just when to play her cards right. And the clothes... well, lets just say I'll bet she picked that outfit with Booth's libido in mind.

This looks like it's going to be interesting and we haven't even gotten into any betting yet. Looking forward to part 2...

I feel the same way - I've been ferociously blocked on this fic, and when I see all the lovely multi-chapter fics out there, I've just had to give them a pass while I try to get the next chapter done. For now. I've been known to be late for work - several days running - when in the midst of a truly stellar fic. (That's going to be an ongoing problem with yours, I can tell

Until I was 38 I'd managed to avoid every creative writing class, every essay, every ANYTHING to do with putting pen to paper and making up a story.

Gee... I'm 41 and looking at writing a professional novel and I STILL haven't done something like a creative writing class. Hell, I haven't taken English since high school! Crap... I'm doomed!

My first attempts, on FF.net, while correct with regard to spelling and grammar, are full of cliches and a lack of...I don't know, but they lack something.

TRUST ME, mine aren't winners either. And there's a dramatic change when FM comes on board.
