Up to this point it hasn't been working, nor has anything else, for shit's sake. But I did write a little yesterday and today, so maybe, PLEASE GOD, I'm turning a corner.

I'm very grateful that you don't hate me for my lack of....writing, I guess. Been very upset about this lack, lately. But I shall persevere.

Poor Booth! Dragged out for a night of dancing that he didn't ask for and now he's got to a) fend off an intrigued squint who wants to know his physical preferences in a woman (when he really only wants the whole of his partner, b) watch said partner dancing up a storm, c) watch said partner try to drink more than she should and d) deal with said partner as she's plastered against him and her hands are roaming more than they should!

Take these two out of their regular environment and Brennan at the very least lets it all hang out. Booth on the other hand seems to be a mass of nerves and second thoughts.

And he's on his own at the end with his half-drunk and exhausted partner. The man is simply in big trouble. HA!

Very nice situation you've put Booth into. Can't wait to see how he gets out of it...
