Went to dinner with Mom and Dad - we went to the Chinese Buffet place. After we ate, we all headed back for dessert, at which point Mom grabbed the MOST DISGUSTING thing I've ever seen:

Don't you just love that beautiful serving tray? SO fancy...but it's the buffet, so presentation is going to be at a minimum.

The bananas do not look too bad, but just what kind of sauce is on top? It does look disgusting...But sure if you mom liked it, what the heck! Hope you enjoyed your desert...

It's some kind of sweet fruity sauce. She actually really likes it and gets it all the time.

I had vanilla soft-serve ice cream with slices of mandarin oranges on top...and it was fabulous, thank you very much!

Mom said it tastes kind of like Jell-o, so prob either cherry or strawberry. She loves the hell out of it and eats it every time we go there. I don't know, maybe it's okay, but it just looks SO terrible!
