I'm very late chiming in here, but I've had this tab open since the day that we left town, and I was determined to get back to it in the catch-up process. And here I am!

I know what it's like when your yard gets like this. With the heat and the thunderstorms bringing rain, the weeds are growing like a bat out of hell here too. STOP!

Roses. Ugh. I love the look of them but hate dealing with them. We had some here when we moved in and I yanked them all out. And then for years they kept trying to come back. It took a while, but in the end I won. HA! Take that, you stupid roses!

And hopefully your guest didn't stay long.

Good work, bb! This kind of yard work really is work, but it always looks so nice afterwards...
