so, getting the book talk rolling, which one was everyone's favorite?

i really loved OotP because i like Ginny and i really think she came into her own a bit in that book, got a personality other than being nervous around harry.

but i also like PoA becuase it doesn't end with the typical 5-chapter voldemort showdown, which is a nice change of

Goblet of Fire is my favorite, there is just so much that happens in it. I enjoy getting to see a different side of Hagrid and Hermione with their respective "romances."

3 and 4 are my favorites so far. Book 5 was until the whole death thing happened. Then I was just pissed off. I couldn't believe she killed him off! When I got to that part I threw my book across the room.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite, because I just see them all as one really.
When I first read CoS, I couldn't put it down. I literally stayed up all night so I could finish it before school. After re-reading it, though, I don't like it as much as I did the first time around.
Sometimes I want to say that Year 1 is my favorite, just because that's where it all starts, you know? But then it seems that with every new book there are just more amazing things.
Yeah, impossible for me to pick a favorite.

I'm a GOF girl all the way. So much happens in that book...you get romance, competition, DRAGONS, lots of Weasley, and Voldemort's dramatic return. Plus I love the Rita Skeeter parts and Ron's humorous quips. I would like book 5 the best, but for the death thing and because I can't stand reading about Prof Umbridge. She's just too evil.

I love OotP too but I hate Umbridge... I would have sucked it up and told some one about the quill in the hand thing so she would get in trouble. Torturing students isn't allowed anymore. I know that Harry is becoming a moody teenager but I think that the way he treats Ron and Hermione isn't very realistic. At 15 you cling to your friends as if they were your family. YOu don't treat them like shit. He is a jerk in OotP but that book leaves SOOO many unanswered questions and I love that!
