Assistant Managers make $40-46k to start.

Yikes! Still... NOT WORTH IT!

I would never in a million years work for them.
They destroy mom-and-pop communities and their downtowns.. bring in horrid amounts of traffic, etc. etc.

I'm not saying that Target does not bring that in, but Target has an amazing community outreach program where they donate millions from their proceeds to the communities they serve. Plus, they're not nearly as invasive as Walmart.

I rather hate Florida, to be honest. After living here and dealing with hurricanes and damage and old people everywhere I'm ready to move back home. I hate teaching, too. I love the people I've met through teaching, but it's not for me. I don't care for FAU either. I miss the North. The weather's nice right now but in order to get to it I had to deal with the disgusting heat in the summer and 2 hurricanes (granted Katrina wasn't bad when it came through, but Wilma left everything a mess.)

I'm moving back up north in April.

Are you going to transfer then, for graduate school, or are you unsure of what you will be doing?
