Parking Violation My Arse

I left the house this morning to find a walking police officer ticketing my car. I was parked on the corner and she was fining because I was parked too far from the curb.

She was like "did you have to park 3ft from the curb"
Me: "Actually, that's more like a foot and a half"

Woman: "you know you're close to the corner"

That reminds me of a run-in I had with a Vermont state trooper back when I was in college. I passed an unmarked VT state police car on I-89, and when the trooper looked at my license, he said "I guess they teach you to pass state troopers in Virginia". After he handed me my warning, I said "No, in Virginia, state police cars are blue, not green, so we know what we're passing".

In 2004 was given a ticket for speeding in a school zone...

...at 5pm

...on a Sunday.

It made no sense to me either.
