My first thought was how does that work?? Poor guy, sounds like he's had a rough go of it. I think your mix conveys his wish to be alone as well as some self loathing very well indeed. I also like that it's succinct, I feel like it goes well with the theme. Thanks for sharing!

Klaus has had a hard life but some of it he brings upon himself. I think the self loathing comes from his father, well the man he was raised to believe was his father. His mother had an affair with a man who was a werewolf and Klaus never knew it. He also blames himself for the death of his younger brother which I think holds him back from being close to his other siblings who are all vampires. Its definitely a dysfunctional family dynamic and even the love of a good woman never seems to keep Klaus from doing the wrong thing and becoming a true monster.
