Nice job. I'm always fascinated with the idea of Tonks' true appearance.

But Hermione doesn't have time to think about that now, because those long fingers are stroking and moving and the ceiling and the crack and the sheets run together into a seamless blur of motion and vast awareness.

I love the visual change here.

I liked the contrasting details-- particularly, the mention of the way a dirty dingy room can be paradise. The pairing was perfectly natural and seemingly effortless, much like your characterizations. Lovely.
