Important Stuff
Okay, here's the deal. Participation has been lacking lately. It could be my fault for picking crappy caps or themes, or everyone could just be too busy with school/work/life to make icons for a Livejournal contest. The bottom line is that maintaining this community is no longer a joy for me, and it's like pulling teeth every week when I have to post a new challenge.
I could say that the community is going on a hiatus, but the truth is that the community would probably just be forgotten and die a slow death. And that would be sad.
If there is anyone who would be willing to take the helm, please let me know. I would prefer to hand over the community to someone who has had experience in running icontests, but I will consider anyone who has the time and enthusiasm to devote to this community. Comments are screened. If you're interested in taking over this community, please comment with your email address and just tell me a little bit about your experiences with icontests and LJ, especially if you are currently the moderator of other icontests.
There will not be a new challenge posted today. I will post the winners and the banners of the previous challenge this evening.
