I was not really surprised, but more worried about all the people that have gone missing. It seems like the DEs are trying to take over Diagon Alley and anyone who may be just the slightest bit important there. Poor Ollivander. And what in the world would the icecream maker have done to upset the DEs?

Not make a flavor named after them (what would Death Eater Delight taste like?)

Ollivander is an interesting person to be missing. He always seemed more neutral in the previous books so I wonder if he did "turn", or was really kidnapped, or just plain left.

Good question. Ollivander would come in handy to the DEs because he's obviously skilled in certain things, but if he was dead, people couldn't get wands as good. hard to say.
Death Eater Delight would taste like blood & envy & lust & hate & greed. Not very yummy, i'm afraid

I was dying laughing at U NO POO. i ♥ it that JKR has some sort of comic relief in these books. Also, those 30 minute day dream charms that aren't available for under 16s, anyone wanna venture a guess about those. You can use them in class so they can't be too bad, right?

What I liked was that Hermione was really interested in them! It's so cool to see her acting girlish sometimes rather than just a know it all.

true true. i am a hardcore hr/r canon shipper cause i think they're perfect for each other. maybe she'll wanna dream about ron.
