This was actually a lot of fun! I had to do phone posts, and I wasn't sure approximately how many pages 5 minutes would work out to being, so the transition between part 1 and part 2 are pretty sloppy, forgive me ( Read more... )

You're welcome!! I'm so excited about how quickly I was able to get this done! (by the way, can I remain on the reserves list? Can I be put at the bottom of the reserves list or something? I'd love the chance to do this again--with more planning, and hopefully no phone posts...)

Yeah, I'll plonk you back on the bottom of the reserves list, although when the time comes I might give a chapter to a reserve that hasn't actually had a chapter yet, you know, out of fairness, but we'll see how it goes. People probably won't notice you've already had a chapter by then, heh. Cheers again!

I know!! I sound slightly strange to myself, but I've recorded so many books on tape for my students that I'm getting slightly used to that weird voice that I'm hearing!!

I feel awful for giggling, but it's good giggling - this really reminded me of when my mom would read to me when I was little, and do weird accents. I've only had time to listen to the first one, but will definitely be listening to the rest :)

(And may I point out that your British accent is actually far superior to the majority of people I come into contact with. Who are, er, British. How worrying.)

Good, how about you? I'm just back from a family reunion/graduation trip, so I'm also sick of driving... heh.

I'm not sure about lysrouge, let me check with her and let you know tomorrow. :) I was going to post this weekend, but got to use the computer exactly once on Sunday morning for 14 minutes- wah!
