I loved this. You did an amazing job dragging the reader into Harry's depression. And Ron? What was an absolute dream.

Unfortunately, it was all too easy to get into Harry's depression, having been there myself. Not, it's true, as bad as Harry's, but it was close enough to home that I had to stop writing several times and go off for a break.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting.

What can you do? As a parent you know that sometimes it's the only place you can reach. And you just have to kiss something, and soon.

*hugs you tight*

So sad and heartbreaking. Harry's pain is so clear and when he knows what he's feeling and can't stop it, just gut-wrenching. Wonderful, beautiful story.

Thanks. It was hard for me to work through his pain; and obviously a great deal harder for him! I'm glad it struck a note for you.

I know that I already commented but I don't feel that my review really gave justice to what I think about this piece and I want you to know this is at least the 10th time that I've read this since yesterday.

I really relate to this story a lot. I had suffered through a situational depression a number of years back, and while I've recovered from it, Harry's story really resonates with me because it rings so true to my own experience.

I know exactly how hard this was for you to write given your own experiences with depression, because it's not easy to hold that part of you up to a mirror, but it's that experience and that candidness that really makes this piece something extraordinarily special ( ... )

*sniff*

oh, good god. these two.

i love this so much. your harry is so brilliantly harry, fucked-up and messy and jumping to conclusions, and your ron is just... ron, protective and strategic and a little bit hapless, but just enough to be endearing and beautiful.

i want to hug them both, but i suspect they're probably busy with one another at the moment... which is exactly how they should be.

Thank you.

I've always thought Harry must have some serious emotional problems. He's always supressed them because he had no choice, but one day they were bound to catch up with him. That's why his Ron is there.

Thanks again for your wonderful comment.
