“Whatever happens, I will never be anybody’s puppet.”
So chilling and ironic, considering what becomes of Bellatrix...

I love the second person as well - it works wonders with Alice's POV. And gosh, I really love your Alice and your Bellatrix, it's so creepy to see how their relationship plays out! Then Frank makes a cameo, which I find awesome, because I can see exactly what happens next without you saying it. And the end! The sense of intrigue and foreboding OH MY GOODNESS. ♥

I really love this, thank you SO much! :DD

Wow, this is brilliant. The second person is really interesting, and I love the way you've characterised Alice as a bit of a loner who's easily taken in by someone who pretends to care about her. Bellatrix, too, is wonderfully IC.

A part of you feels shattered, like you’re not quite yourself anymore, not since you first noticed her noticing you.

Your description of Alice's crush is very believable and realistic and so familiar to most anyone, certainly myself. The foreshadowing adds another layer-- From Bellatrix's "independence" to the Basilisk and their future together. It's very creepy; relationships like this do happen all the time!

The second person POV, btw, was great and not awkward at all like it sometimes can be.
