This Week's Theme: Kidnapping!

Sep 13, 2010 20:44

Hello, darlings!

Many apologies for the lack of activity over the past few weeks; it's been one of those times in which other commitments have taken over the lives of mods (especially this one). However, this has given some of you time to add yet more suggestions to older themes; for that, we (and fandom in general) thank you!

So, without further ado, we present this week's theme:

KIDNAPPING

Oh, it's an oldie-but-goodie trope, though so much less common in the post-DH era!

For clarification, being kidnapped is not the same as being a prisoner of war. Often, in a kidnapping fic, war isn't being fought in the open.

Kidnapping requires that it's only one (or possibly two) person captured, that it happens in relative secrecy, and that there is a certain level of mystery as to who committed the kidnapping and, therefore, where the prisoner is being held.

Luna, Dean, Ollivander, etc., were all POW's during the canon Second Wizarding War, not kidnapping victims.

Kidnapping can be committed by the forces of Dark or Light, can include torture or not, sexual abuse or not, Stockholm Syndrome or not.

For this week's theme, we need to know who has been kidnapped!
