Hello again :)
So it's that time of week again. Week One was definitely a success. Later on (after I go to bed), I will be posting the info for the TimeTravel theme.
This week's theme was more difficult to choose. I had two ideas (and I'll be using one this week, and the other next week), but I wasn't sure if I would get the same response as last week. (Trust me, you guys were awesome!!) But thanks to everyone's opinoins, this week's theme is (drum roll please):
Unusual Careers (and fanworks that explore them). BUT there are a few things I want to add for this week's theme. There are three careers that will not be accepted in this theme: Aurors, Professors, and Healers (each of these careers may eventually be chosen for an individual theme).
Furthermore, many people pointed out that while it is common to see Quidditch Player!Ron, it would be unusual to see Quidditch Player!Hermione. So I'm asking you guys to use your best judgement to rec fics that have Unusual Careers for the Characters in question.
Here are some quick examples/guidelines:
-No Quidditch Player! Harry, Draco, Ron, Ginny
-No Potions Master/Mistress! Hermione, Draco, Severus
-No Herbologist! Neville
-Etc
I was also given an amazing link from the hd_career_fair , which can be found HERE. The fics are divided by occupation. Because there are almost 170 fics from this fest, and the are already so well categorized (and I've been told that they are almost all rec-worthy), I won't be adding the individual fics on the Masterlist, so please, if only for my sanity, don't flood my inbox with them *puppy dog eyes*
