Oh, me too. I'm getting the sadness/withdrawl thing going on, and I read it in abut 8 hours, and I started re reading it again on sunday. It was completley action packed, and I cried on and off through the whole thing.
Wow, 8 hours? I think it took me so long cause my eyes were moving faster along the words than my brain could process them so i had to reread alot of things.
JKR said there just might be an encyclopedia coming, essentially publishing some of her notes she's made throughout the writing process. We'd be getting back stories and all kinds of other things that weren't included in the series. Hopefully some answers will come out, too...like the 12 uses of dragon's blood
( ... )
Yea, i heard about the encyclopedia but i just dont think it would be the same as reading the actual books. id still buy it of course.
I was hooked after the 3rd book(I ♥ sirius) too, but I think i got completely obsessed around the time of the 5th book, i was about 13 then so i was just starting to understand them completely.
Ive read all the narnia books, and they done come close to harry potter. Hes our hero, lol.
I feel weird too. Like I can't believe it's really over. I was ten years old when the first book came out. I've been following these books for half of my life. My entire teenage years. These books will forever be linked to me growing up and it's so weird to think I won't ever read another one.
I really want the encyclopedia JKR said she might do. I know it's all irrelevant and won't change the story or anything but it would be so nice to know all the back stories and little info we didn't get in the book.
Yea, the encyclopedia would be good. But in order for it to have every little peice of information i would want to know, it would need to have each charactors life story, the history of hogwarts, and then some more.
I said the same thing to my brother when I finished yesterday. I feel like I just lost a friend :-(. The end of the book just left me feeling empty. I mean, it was a phenomenal book, but I felt like I was saying goodbye to someone for the last time. So sad!
That's exactly how I feel. I feel sooo sad! I mean, it was hard to even comprehend the deaths because I don't have another book to read where I'll be like "omg, they're gone"
