Mommy to be Day

I love getting presents. I love giving them as well, but I LOVE getting presents. And I was so excited when I read in one of the adoption books that we should celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day, since we can consider ourselves expecting.

That being said, I celebrated Mother's Day this year. Larry was a great husband. On Mother's Day I received

Awwwww, that sounds so lovely! I got all teary just reading about it. H. got me a card too and my aunt sent us a card, got an email from my dad and H's mom got us some flowers. BUT I WAS THE BIG WEENIE and didn't get H. a card. So, to make up for it, I'm going to get her a Father's Day card from the little fella.

When the baby comes home with you, I'll send Tobie a "Best Big Sister Kit" to include a new toy, some bones and other things that might make having a new sibling a little more happy for the poochly kind.... maybe that will make up for her Mother's day trauma ;)
