("Christmas presents to myself" isn't really a thing, but after Christmas I do often buy a lot of nerdy books that are too niche to actually ask for/expect, like Strunk & White, "Working Effectively with Legacy Code" or "The Design of Everyday Things". I did get great real Christmas presents, though, including a biography of Turing, Season 2 of Elementary, and a thing for balancing stroopwaffles over cups of tea so that they melt.)
