Em, tomorrow is the first day of "summer", our predicted high 62, and that's about what we have been having this year, our nicest days are what passes for average and our worst, well, they have taken to calling it June-uary

As mildly annoying as the cold dank wet is, I'd far rather have this than the heat of last summer (My fear is that we somehow catapult from this to upper 90s to 100+ later this summer) After all, it is not terribly troublesome to put on a sweater, or a raincoat.
But when it is in the high 90's to mid 100s, there is a limit to what one can remove to be cooler, even in the privacy of one's home. I spent a week last year lying down with the fan on, and spritzing the air periodically with a spray bottle full of water.
