98 days and counting!

Not only was it raining this AM, and I had to unlock the building gate, in the dark, in the rain (just like I will have to do soo many mornings for the rest of the year).

The front door light was burned out, and I had to find a flash-light to see the combination lock to unlock the door

Had a resonable weekend, went to the County Fair Friday, for the "in by noon for 0.25"; special, but we ended up not paying anything, as the couple in front of us paid the 0.50 to get us in ( Read more... )

Em, haven't posted about the new shed in sometime. Well, I still have to put the door on, final paint and put the gutters one, but it's coming along nicely

E had left last night to spend today doing some Victorian Costume thing, so I decided to take advantage of her being gone to shampoo the carpets, between the cats heaving their guts out, cats eliminating in the wrong place and general dirt, they were getting quite bad ( Read more... )

Went out and watched a little of the meteor shower last night, we saw two nice bright ones and two rather dim ones. Also just got a photo from a friend of his from last night

OK, this takes a little explaining. In the early 1800's a Constitutional Amendment was proposed, passed by Congress and 12 states, which was not enough to pass. It would have been the original 13th amendment.
