These gifts are freakin' wonderful. I have such a soft spot for line drawings--it's the only kind of art I've ever purchased for my walls, really!--and, in short, I loves them.
As much an ignoramus about art as I am, I did read Winnie-the-Pooh, and I totally love how all the illustrations are so Pooh-ish. Poor Peter's haircut is so wonderfully unfashionable, the rabbit ears being the root of half-Peter are so clever, and I love Lily's hair. Never imagined her that way, with that adorable fringe but it's great, not least of all because there is no way a thirteen-year-old James could see that hairstyle and not want to mess with it. :D
