I've already ranted to Twatsy about Orlando Bloom and Ugly People, but I feel that they deserve a little more exposure than just her comment log

H, my dear, few things are truer than this entry. Sadly, it's all a bunch of crappola and we both know as much. The truth of the matter is, Orlando Bloom is destined for a life of fame and will never have time for you or I. But who I really feel sorry for is the love child--bc he probably won't have time for it either. (I say "it" in the most loving way possible as it is a child and I'm not completely heartless.)
As far as ugly people go, well, this is my only rubuttle: If there were no ugly people on our planet, would we really feel as beautiful as we do? I think not. So I see all the uglies as an opportunity to love my own face in the mirror, to worship my body and to marvel at the size of my melons. (they really are massive lumps of flesh). Of course, I'm kidding--but, well, I'm not. The ugly people make me feel divine. Let's keep 'em.
This is a fun trick: 1. Get in front of a mirror. 2. Close your eyes and think of the ugliest pimple-ridden greasy faced double chined fat girl you can think of and pretend you're going to open your eyes and see that person in the mirror. 3. Open your eyes. 4. Be happy and thankful that you're so pretty.
I like how there is a pic of Simon, my British boyfriend, right above Mel's "trick". I can hear the harsh, critical (yet undeniably sexy)words plain as day. "You know, you have got to be the most hideous thing that I have seen to this day" (You are the weakest link...GOODBYE).
