Am also somewhat relieved to know that Stewart has demonstrated not uncharacteristic rudeness
Yes, even if it's amusing if not directed towards you, he can be quite blunt/rude. I am relieved to hear that he did not 'demonstrate reprehensibility', heh. ::sigh:: I miss Stewart...the bluntness and the zippered robes. I won't see him for many months, because when I return to the Institute, he will be off to the great Muggle university of Oxford.
My room *desperately* needs cleaning charms...I have been quite lazy about that. :(
First greasy men older than you, and now zippers? Where is your taste, Natalie? Though it is nice to think we've come far enough that somebody as aggressively pureblood as an Ackerley will study philosophy at Oxford . . .
Did talk to one of Ron's mates, who was severely unimpressed with Stewart & co. Another point against them, I suppose.
The sad thing is that this altercation reads like a case from my Contracts text. Even sadder is I think I know how the law of Contracts would resolve it.
I turned down post-dinner Whiskey Nosing in the Upper Library with the Senior Fellows because I've been sick all week. There's so damn much alcohol here at Massey, and I'm saving myself for the Feast for the Founding Master this weekend...
From the fic exchange. Lol, I love this journal, and I've just read this one entry. The small tibbits of humour that Hermione displays ios great and you surly make things very interesting in her life.

My taste can apparently be summed up in liking men who other people find annoying. Seriously.
Why was Ron's mate unimpressed?

Ron's mate didn't give me real specifics, just the general sense that Stewart had been very rude.
