I was really bitchy about the latest One Piece colorspread. I can't believe Oda let Zoro lose an arm on his own (I mean...kind of a big deal), Chopper's hat is stupid, Nami's basically pure fanservice, and WHAT THE HELL SANJI. More on Sanji later

About Zoro's arm. I had the same reaction as you seeing the blurry spoilers but looking at the spread now you can see he's holding a sword in his left hand (the blade is visible under the logo). So, very relieved. But that sleeve did look empty! wth Oda you're supposed to be better than that ( ... )

Yeah, in retrospect, I realized that maybe Zoro was just giving us a saucy wink, but still. That scar is different from all the other ones :/

You know, I wouldn't mind seeing Sanji with black hair entirely. He'd look like a fashionable Japanese actor or something! But he should really just pick a color and stick with it.

The Hancock thing is basically that I loved her as a heartless bitch and I hate that now she's literally a joke, and not a very funny one at that. I just liked her better when she wasn't in love and spent most of her time kicking kittens.

I guess Zoro would be the most likely candidate for it, but personally my pick would be Brook. Think of all the skull jokes he could make.

Ohh, good call! I'll have to dig that one out too...I think it was my second introduction to Susan and the one where I began to really like her.

I love your drawing! That is crazy awesome! Sanji actually looks sort of like Hiroshi Abe, whom I adore the beans out of, so that just doubles the awesomeness for me.

And yeah, I never thought of it before but he does resemble Raleigh, doesn't he? Heh. Wonder if that's conscious or not.

Black? Really? Did you draw it on with a Sharpie, Sanj? Are you dying it? Or is that your natural color and it's your hair that's artificial? Either way, the contrast is gross. PLEASE RECONSIDER. Hahaha, excellent. Actually, I was kind of hoping, before sybile corrected me, that Franky would build Zoro a new mechanical arm and he'd be like a half cyborg swordsman. But I guess we're stuck with Conventional Swordsman Zoro.

Usopp got the best "upgrade," I agree! And I like that he's not exaggeratedly buffed up; you can see how he got his new body from his old one.

I was a little sad about that, too. I mean, one of the many reasons why I enjoy One Piece so much is because it contains very minimal fanservice, so it was kind of like my "safety blanket" when most other series were like, "HEY LOOK AT THESE BOOBS AND PANTIES ETC. TEE HEE" One Piece, don't let me down now. D:
