Kelsi sometimes wondered if she was invisible. She had somehow become so much a part of the theatre that people acted as if she wasn’t there. She witnessed chaste kisses between Troy and Gabriella, hungry kisses for Zeke when Sharpay thought no-one was watching and passionate, stolen kisses between Chad and Ryan. Those stolen kisses were the best because they made Ryan happier than he’d seemed for a long time; her friend glowed with happiness.
Kelsi sighed and her smile wavered a little; if only someone would notice her so that one day she would be the one being kissed.
