Fantastic. I love it when people who try to cheat the system get bent over the table. I also wonder if there are any criminal elements to this: ie. he was drunk or his friends didn't call an ambulance before bailing (and are thus guilty of hit and run), or if there's anything else they can get nailed to the wall for.

Lemme do some looking around and see if I can find a lawyer who specializes in this kind of thing.

I'm sure the cops have the guys that fled for something, as for the driver, lying to the police, excessive speed, dangerous driving (which has a criminal charge associated with it)
