The American dream isn't it? Fuck if it's not a shit load of stress. Especially doing them all so closely together. I just don't have time to do anything to bring my stress down these days, I can't wait for the approved stamp on the mortgage, cause then I know from there on in, it's just maintaining things

This is the problem with the American Dream: it usually hinges on debt. Which then has to be paid off or else you lose everything. So instead of being free to enjoy the stuff, you instead stress over how to pay for all of it.

Even worse, when most people pay off the debt, the first thing they do is go back into it to get a bigger house and nicer car, and put themselves right back onto the hamster wheel. Otherwise they fall behind the Joneses, and little things like happiness aren't worth that, right?

Well there's a few aspects to this. First off, this house could be the last home I ever own. It's by far more then large enough for anything I'll ever need, and the location is an absolute win, also the potential for anything I want is there. I just have to do it
