The funny thing is these picture CAPTCHAs were created to thwart spammers and bots, but the very next day someone created an algorithm just as effective as the one they used before the picture element was introduced. I often wonder when IT people are going to realise that there's almost no such thing as absolute security when it comes to networks, especially the internet. Once they heard the picture CAPTCHA had been broken, they should've went back to the old one and saved people the embolism inducing frustration that comes with finding those goddamned deformed kittens.
