So, my birthday started pretty early. The cat woke me up at 0530 because it was hunting one of my hair ties. I convinced Charlie to take a nap (meaning I scratched his head and gave him a treat) and went back to sleep until 8am. It felt great to sleep in for once. I am really glad you liked your present. I'd been thinking about it for awhile, but I kept thinking that I should get you something more practical but in the end, I went for the fruit bouquet.

That's awesome you got a free haircut when you donated your hair. I WANT TO SEE PICTURES!!!!!

I've got to try to get to bed, even though I took a 3.5hr nap today. I had a beer this evening (and went on a really really boring date with a guy who said he didn't like anything I said I liked. I love Scrubs, he hates it. I love amusement parks, he hates them. The WHOLE TIME.) but not even a beer and a boring, ornery guy can help me sleep tonight. :( Time for some melatonin.

I'm sorry the date didn't go well, sucks you didn't have anything in common. I'll have pictures soon. Mimi usually comes over for dinner at least once during the week, so we can transfer pictures then.

I'm getting my hair cut next weekend. Corrie is trying to convince me to do a layering thing, but I'm not sure. I still would like to grow it out again. At least a bit longer. We'll see. She has pictures to show me that are supposed to convince me.

I'm not worried about tonight's date. Last night's was absolutely fantastic (best date ever. Or at least in the top 3)and I'm seeing him again, so it makes up for the bad one tonight. I'm supposed to see a third guy some night this week, I have to call guy #4 back tomorrow and I'm talking to a few more online, but at some point, I'm going to have to start thinning out the herd. I can't handle keeping track of this many guys! I figure most of them will be losers anyway (like tonight) and things could possibly progress with guy #1 (his name is John) into something more serious. We shall see. The last time I tried online dating it sucked, so this is actually mostly fun!
