Met another life goal

I blogged many months ago about meeting one of my life goals, paying off a car loan. Another is earning a Masters Degree, which I will have this summer. Another is actually getting a teaching job, which I hope to have in the fall. Yet another life goal is to buy a house.

That is very exciting! Do you like the area?

My inner environmentalist would like a house made of old tires and plastic bottles, but we LOVE the area. It is a bit farther commute (2 20 minutes) than Rob is used to, but the area is great. It isn't that far from an interstate, but you can't see or hear I-10 from out backyard. 5-6 times a day I think "we bought a house...." and get really happy.
