I think your lesson plan sounds awesome.

I was thinking about the Emancipation Proclamation the other day. You know Hannibal Hamlin signed it, right? And he was very instrumental in getting it passed when it was? He was a complete abolitionist.

Anyway, just remember how you eat an elephant...one bite at a time. That's how I get through my days, too.

I like to check things off a list so it feels like I've accomplished something. The only bonus about my full time teaching is that I'll have extra time to devote since Rob won't be around. I'd forgotten about Hannibal Hamlin!
