Personality: Edward is the typical Austen/Bronte-esque hero. He uses a bit of old-fashioned language, and he is extremely proper. His manners are superb, and he can be rather eloquent when he needs to be. Though, he can be reclusive as well, and he also has a nasty temper. He appears to be a big, tough guy, and he comes across that way to most people, but he always feels terrible after shouting at someone or giving a student a bad grade. Also, Edward is TERRIBLE with speaking with women he likes. He tends to clam up and fumble for words. And if he can’t find the right words, he simply blushes and turns away. He hates himself for that. But otherwise, he is calm and stern and extremely professional ( ... )

Likes - at least 15: Reading, writing, respectable music, ballroom dancing, formal parties, knowing what he’s doing, doing things right, teaching, his father, drinking, looking nice, linguistics, following rules (to a certain extent), the German language, being a gentleman, Transfiguration, practicing magic, solitude, good students, independent women, protecting people
Dislikes - at least 15: Being lost, his mother, terrible students, looking dumb, Potions, his awkwardness around women, women who cling and can’t think by themselves, werewolves, being useless, liars, Quidditch, his terrible temper (he got it from his father), people who think they know everything
