Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, I was a member of the Science Fiction Book Club. I wasn't great at sending the monthly offerings form back to not get the books that they were offering that I didn't want, and ended up with some fantasy books I had absolutely no interest in. These books were packed away and mostly forgotten until one winter

Not only that, she brought a lot of people together, and was kind and generous. I shall raise a cup to her memory later today.
