Yes, it is a representation of that, BUT it is still DAMNED funny! And I love the American Idiot family; they've given us SO many laughs: The Simpsons, Family Guy and even a futuristic idiotic disfunctional "family" with Futurama. Ah... American TV... how it makes you dumb, and yet a humorous fellow... Gotta love it! It gets my full 100% approval!
