Man, you're not the only person who felt jerked that night. My boyfriend & I went out to an Italian restaurant just for the occasion & rushed home to catch the final episode. My mouth hung open for at least 2 minutes after. I couldn't believe it. That has got to be the lamest ending to a series EVER.
I'm annoyed that the final episode requires so much analysis, but since it is the last time I'll ever discuss this dumb shit, indulge me.
First off, why, as you said, were they dining at a greasy spoon? Why did it appear that when Tony arrived at the restaurant he saw himself seated in that booth? Why did they all arrive seperately? What the fuck was that 3 minutes of parallel parking supposed to mean? Why was there a Phil Leotardo look-alike in some of the shots? Were those 2 African-American guys the same ones who tried to whack Tony in a previous episode? WTF?
