AAHHH mandarin is making me miserable right now. X__X. I'm trying to study and it's not working. UGH. Pronunciation is so hard, and I'm getting so frustrated. I'm really not in a good mood right now...argh. My determination is slowly drifting away just as the class is picking up pace and packing in the work load because it's almost ending.

summer fridays are the most dead time for de anza

i went into the caf. the other day and i was shocked at how empty it was

usually it is full of all the international students. i guess they all went back to asia.

yeah seriously as if fri. and sat. weren't dead enough during regular quarters it's almost like a ghost town during the summer.

it's almost kinda creepy.

hmm i haven't been the cafeteria yet. maybe i should try it out some time. a girl in my class bought fries from there during our break, and the whole classroom smelled like, yeah, fries lol. it made me really hungry O_O they looked gooood.

international students are fun to talk. it's fun meeting new people. i've actually met more people in my one mandarin class in two weeks at de anza than i have throughout my whole first year at UCLA. wow, how weird. maybe it's because my classes are usually so big with like 200 students. but then there's discussion that's like a regular classroom setting. but we only meet once a week. argh who knows. i'm just sayingggg.
