I'm nervous about drawing real people! So I was glad to try Dorian first.
Turned out my solution to drawing real people was to make them cartoony. Poor Gus was a victim of my uncertainty here, probably.
Oh, man, for years I've being telling myself "You're gonna love Psych one day", and I've finally started watching it, and I do. And Gus is like, 60... 65 percent of that, all by himself. Luckily the other characters are fairly awesome too so I don't pine for him every second he's not on screen.
So every so often when shaking out a trash bag or - as was the case Wednesday - flapping my hands around after reading the latest One Piece (I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ANYMORE THIS CAN'T BE LIFE) my wrist decides pain!! Pamper it for a while and don't try to turn any doorknobs or vault over the back of the couch and it goes away in a few hours. Anyway, why'd it have to happen on Nakadai day? But it was probably for the best. Because I luurrrve Nakadai and would have spent too much time fussing.
Mary from Carnival of Souls.
Shirley Bassey! Sorta shot for circa her Live at Carnegie Hall look, because that was the first album I pulled out.
Gibby Green. Just, he's got this Young Pete quality, but more upbeat.
♥ My dear love. ♥
