My Islam professor just said she doesn't understand how Muslims can believe that Jesus was born of a virgin but not accept him as Lord and Savior.

What am I even doing in this class?

uhhhh... wow.

if she can't teach about Islam without injecting her own very Christian interpretation, she probably shouldn't be teaching about Islam.

Is there another section you can transfer to?

Unfortunately, no, and I can't drop the class. She's a pretty bad professor to begin with (read: highly disorganized) and so I do most of my learning on my own with the book and a pen. Most of class time is spent seething at her incompetence and chatting on Facebook with the kid next to me about how incompetent she is. I feel badly that I'm not paying attention, but I'm pretty much guaranteed not to learn anything (or to get confused because she doesn't understand what she's teaching) if I do.
