Caleb, as you're starting this year, I want you to keep in mind the things that are most important to you, hold on to them, and don't let go. The world's about to hit you with the force of a hurricane, don't let it knock down your house. I wrote this sonnet at the beginning of my senior year:

The White Oak sheds its leaves last this fall
From green to brown, a majestic end
It’s climax in orgasmic orange coral,
Is the harsh Goodbye that the wind rends.

Our last autumn fades in but a short time,
into the Grey of December’s sky.
We look back at home, before the climb
At those we loved and asked not why.

The last is the last, but before the first
of many Octobers yet to be spent.
For the best is ahead, and so’s the worst
We’ve but started the time God lent.

A leaf may turn, and fall to the ground
Only a fool waits for life, whilst it is all around.

Good luck and don't forget to have some fun.

-Andy Rees

Thanks, I appreciate the advice, and I wasn't going to just let go of everything around me to start a new life. I was planning on making those relationships stronger so I could go on with life. the first five lines of that song don't agree with my personal view on life, I just wanted to post the song in its entirity. Once again thank you so much Andy you have been a great friend, and I hope we keep this friendship we have.
